National Building Product Coalition – AIBS Contribution

At their meeting of 25 October 2023, the AIBS Board resolved that AIBS should join the National Building Product Coalition and appointed Jeremy Turner to represent AIBS with regard to the Coalition’s activities.  

The Coalition Charter, notes that the Coalition is an industry alliance that has come together to help advance the implementation of the National Building Product Assurance Framework (the Framework).

The Framework was prepared in response to the Building Confidence Report (BCR) which sought to address systemic issues in the Australian construction industry. The Framework was one of the best practice models to come of the BCR process.
